Her opinion is that therapists and psychologists don't really help much. I told her that the therapist said it was ok for us to come less frequently since a lot had been uncovered and was on the table already, and that she and I needed to take more time on our own to really figure out what to do with things. To her, it was too expensive to go every week. That was still expensive, and she felt that we wouldnt get real benefit from going only twice a month. I said, okay, we'll go every other week. Nevertheless, her reply to this is that it was still too expensive, and I said "yes, but we spend money on other things as well, and this is important - if working on us isnt worth spending money on, WHAT is?" She said, well you can keep going if you want to, I don't see any further benefit from it.

However, according to my mom and her friends (who heard this from the girl's mother), she rarely dates. I am looking forward to it. Am I being really anal about this? In fact, I have more dating experience than this lady--when I heard that I almost laughed, considering my 'dating experience'. In the repsonse she said that she would be happy to see me. OK, I will hopefully have this 'blind date' set up by the middle of this coming week. This person sounds like she is interesting. She then asked my when I would like to meet her. That was almost three days ago. I asked her questions about herself and what she is studying in school. She responded withing a day. Is three days way too long to respond? It is one of my pet peeves when someone doesn't respond in a timely manner. Well, I sent her another email letting her know when we could meet. I am in a bit of a pickle. I introduced myself by email.
